Winter Wonderland!

Saturday, December 1, 2007
I thought you might like to see what a "mild" ice storm looks like in Omaha! This is one of the lilac bushes in our front yard.

I also wanted to share a special gift that I received from a special friend. Yesterday afternoon the doorbell rang and at my door was a floral delivery lady. She handed me a beautiful poinsettia plant with a Willow Tree angel tucked in among the leaves. It's called, "The Angel of Friendship."

Rod summed it up when he came home and saw the plant and the figurine when he said, "We really have some amazing friends, don't we?"

Thanks for reading, my amazing friends.

Hi Annette,
Oh, the ice looks beautiful on the trees, but was it on the roads and sidewalks too? Just be careful!!
We are to get snow after 1am and then freezing rain too, it must be moving east.
That is so nice you got a beautiful poinsetta and angel. I have never seen a Willow Tree Angel before, its so pretty. That was so nice of your friend!!!
Oh, I know how amazing it is to have amazing friends, I have several also, wink wink.
Much love and many hugs and blessings,
Sue :-)
Oh, are you curled up by the fire today and relaxing?? :-)

Oh my gosh, I have that same angel to give to you. Do you want two? When Bobo died a friend gave me one and I see it every day and remember what a great dog he was. Hope you're doing okay. See you soon. Love, Paula
