I'm a lucky woman...

Thanks to all of you that read this crazy blog and thank you also to those of you who respond on this site, send me emails or just make a caring comment in person. When you're sick, especially when you're sick and you live in Nebraska and it's stinkin' freezing outside, you feel a little isolated. Being able to "talk" to others like this helps alleviate some of that loneliness. So, thank you.
I thought I'd show you an awesome icycle that's hanging outside one of our windows.

OMG!! I cannot imagine waking up to that in the morning. The one and only time I ever saw Ice like that when I went to Colorado. Of course we have had some ice here in Texas but nothing like that. LOL!! Please stay warm!

    Love,
    Sheila

  2. I love the icicle pictures! When my sisters and I were little, and we'd play out in the snow (which we used to get a ton of back then, not so much now), we would break down icicles. We would pretend they were crystal shards, from the movie The Dark Crystal. I don't know if you ever saw that movie, but it was one of our favorites! Oh, how I wish I was little and playing with my sisters in the snow again! Anyway, thanks for posting the picture, it brought back some good memories! :) Hang in there, spring is on it's way!!
    Love,
    Colleen :)
